Luca. Fluted is a decorative wall panel system that adds texture, depth, and structure through clean vertical fluted lines. The range covers 25 panel profiles (Solid, Fluted, Wave, Inner Circles) in widths from 50mm to 360mm at panel lengths up to 3,000mm, available in two product categories: Contemporary (visual feature panels) and Acoustic (sound-absorbing panels for studios, conference rooms, restaurants, and hospitality interiors). Surface options include painted, flat, and embossed finishes across woodgrain, stone, leather, fabric, solid colour, and metallic looks, plus custom designs on request.
Luca. Fluted is eco-friendly with zero formaldehyde, fire-resistant, moisture-resistant, anti-bacterial, and anti-collision, anti-scratch and anti-stain (selected films). The seamless joining and curving capability lets a single continuous run wrap columns, ceilings, and curved walls, something rigid timber strip cladding physically cannot do. Commonly specified for feature walls, ceilings, column box-ups, and commercial and residential interiors across Malaysia.
What is a fluted wall panel?
A fluted wall panel is a decorative panel with evenly spaced vertical grooves (flutes) that create a ribbed texture on the surface. The fluted pattern adds depth and visual rhythm to walls and ceilings without requiring complex carpentry or millwork. Luca. Are fluted panels suitable for ceilings?
Yes. Luca. Fluted is light enough for ceiling installations without special structural support. The panels are commonly used on ceilings in residential living areas, hotel lobbies, and commercial reception spaces where the vertical lines running across the ceiling plane add architectural interest. The seamless joining system also lets a single continuous run extend across an entire ceiling without visible breaks.
How do fluted panels compare to timber strip cladding?
Both achieve a linear wall finish, but the use cases differ. Fluted panels are eco-friendly with zero formaldehyde, fire-resistant, moisture-resistant, and anti-bacterial, and they handle Malaysia’s humidity better than real timber.
